TheTencentGlobalPartnerConference2018wassuccessfullyheldinNanjingonNov.1st.DowsonTong, seniorvice-presidentofTencentwasinvitedtogiveakeynotespeechatthemeeting.Inhisremarks,Mr.TongannouncedTencent’splantofocusonthefollowingthreetrendsinconsumerInternetgoingforward:
Theupgradeofcontentconsumptionhascalledfortheprovisionofhigh-qualitycontent.Thereisanurgentneedtoimprovethequalityofspirituallifeaswell.Ontheonehand,companiesneedtofindcreativewaystoproducehigh-qualitycontent.Ontheotherhand,it’snecessaryforthemtodomoretoprotectthecopyrightofcontentandcrackdownonrumors.
Advancedtechnologiesneedtobeleveragedtomakeiteasierforpeopletoworkinculturalandcreativeindustries.Technologies,suchasAudioandVideoandAI,havesimplifiedthetoolspeopleinculturalandcreativeindustriesuse,enablingmorepeopletogetinvolvedinliteraryandartisticcreation.
Socialinteractionsaregrowinglyintegratedwithtoolsandcontentplatforms.Anincreasingnumberofyoungpeoplehasgivenpreferencetocontent-basedsocialinteractionsandhasenjoyeddiversifiedcontentonsocialplatforms.Atthesametime,contentplatformshavedevelopedintoplacessuitableforpeopletosocialize,seekingtoprovideinteractivecontentinatimelyway.

IndustrialInternetisaboutservingbothcompaniesandindividualusers.TencentwillservetheindustrybymeansofCustomertoBusiness(C2B)andcarveoutaplaceforitselfinIndustrialInternetinthenext20years.
